John is a lifelong Idahoan, former Idaho Supreme Court Justice, husband, father, and independent candidate for Governor. Throughout his career, he’s made decisions based on the Constitution, the facts, and what’s right–not because of political pressure. 

Families across our state are asking whether they can afford to stay in Idaho, build a career here, raise a family here, access healthcare here, and preserve the communities they love. He’s running for Governor because those elected to listen and serve Idahoans aren’t showing up in the way they should. 

John believes Idaho can do better—but only if we're willing to do the work together.
